Winning the Real Battle at Church has mesmerized
the people in our home Bible study group as we
search for the Holy Spirit's leading through
challenging times in our local church.  We are
experiencing inner healing and a powerful new
fellowship through the Bible-based teaching and
spiritual wisdom of this six-week study.  The book
leaves us chastened, matured and with great hope for
“Holding [our] Church Together during Troubled
Times.”

Seventy of our church members are excitedly going
through the discipleship study, Winning the Real
Battle at Church. Presently we are going through a
calm and happy time in our church. However, we know
that Satan does not like a happy congregation and that
is why we are doing this study.  Winning the Real
Battle at Church strikes directly at the heart of church
conflict and answers many of our questions regarding
how to stand against Satan’s attacks. We are very
thankful for this resource and know it will benefit our
church for many years to come. It is a “must” Bible
study for every congregation!

Our study group has just finished the fourth week of
the book.  It was so good that we had a difficult time
stopping.  As a matter of fact, we couldn't finish all the
activities because of all the discussion.  Everyone is
enjoying the study and is always eager to start the
daily readings for the next week.  It’s changing their
hearts and lives.  As chairman of the deacons I plan to
use
Winning the Real Battle at Church in our next
training class for new deacons.

I think
Winning the Real Battle at Church is an
excellent study on a topic that is rarely addressed so
directly in other materials.  We plan to use this
curriculum as a small group study this Fall.  We hope
it will be helpful in a church which has experienced a
great deal of strife in the last 10 years.

Winning the Real Battle at Church has applied to
several situations in my life outside of church,
especially at work.  Now I know how to deal with
difficult people on the job, extending God's grace and
forgiveness to them...and it's really making a
difference!

I thoroughly enjoyed the study and the interaction in
our small group.
Winning the Real Battle at Church
was an excellent learning experience that
strengthened personal relationships in our church.

Winning the Real Battle at Church is very thorough
and well put together.  It helped me to see previous
church conflicts in a new light and equipped me to
deal with present and future conflicts.  The truths
taught in the book also applied in many ways to my
personal and social life.

The book's greatest value to me was (1) the
consistent and repeated direction to self-examination
and (2) the emphasis on "intentional love" vs. loving
those who earn it.  The highlighted examples of
church conflicts throughout the book were helpful and
illuminating.

Everyone in our church should take this study!

I have seen many conflicts in various congregations
that resulted in splits and defeated churches in my
more than 50 years as a Christian.  This is the first
study that I've known of where biblical truths and
practical exercises with self inventories actually guide
church members to resolve conflict before its damage
is extensive.
Winning the Real Battle at Church  has
helped me focus on squarely on the truth of God's
Word.

Winning the Real Battle at Church is simply
"life-changing."  Now I understand how God expects
us to resolve church conflict.  My walk with God is
closer and my relationships with other believers are
better.  I think our church should offer this study to
church members once a year!
