Without a doubt, the most well-known Christian couple in
the early church was Aquila and Priscilla. This godly
husband and wife team is mentioned no less than six times
in four New Testament books (Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians,
and 2 Timothy). Among other things they encouraged Paul,
taught Apollos, and eventually became a source of great
blessing to many early congregations. Paul aptly
summarizes this faithful and fruitful couple as follows:
"Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus: Who
have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not
only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles"
(Romans 16:3,4).
I believe it may rightly be observed that David and Diane are
following in their footsteps, attempting to minister to 21st
